MUSEE DU PAPIER

Aware of the European dimension of paper, the City of Angoulême proposed the creation of a "European Paper Route" as part of the Council of Europe's cultural itineraries. Since 1987, the 47 approved routes have been an invitation to travel and discover Europe's rich and diverse heritage. With a paper-making heritage dating back to the Middle Ages, the cities and institutions of Fabriano, Barcelona, Capellades, Fabriano, Heidelberg, Lviv and Santa Maria Da Feira are joining forces to propose a cultural route based on paper.
